New images with the 2016 Skoda Fabia Combi have been recently released by the Czech based automaker as the model will be launched in Europe this month.
With the arrival of the new generation of the Skoda Fabia Combi in its European dealerships this month, the carmaker has released a large photo gallery with the model. The images have been taken in Nice, France, where a press drive event with the vehicle has been organized by the company. The new model has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, back in autumn, last year, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
It stands at 10 mm longer, 90 mm wider and 31 mm lower than its predecessor and it is also 55 kg lighter. In its cabin, we can find the multimedia cradle, which can hold a smartphone or an iPod, the SmartGate function, the MirrorLink syste, a lot of storage compartments and several other tweaks which should make the model more appealing than the current one.
The 2016 Skoda Fabia Combi is offering 530 liters of boot space, with its rear seats up, and this can reach 1,395 liters, with the rear seats folded. As far as the engine lineup goes, six petrol and diesel burners will be offered for the model at first, with outputs ranging between 75 HP (55 kW) and 110 HP (81 kW). The carmaker hasn’t released any pricing details at the moment and these will probably be announced over the next few weeks.
