Subaru has announced the launch of the new Levorg Sport Tourer in the United Kingdom.
The official replacement of the Legacy Tourer is called the Levorg Sport Tourer and it has been signed by Subaru. The model in question has made its public debut during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it is now getting ready to be launched in the United Kingdom. According to the car manufacturer, the estate will become available starting this September but if you were hoping to find out some pricing details, you will be disappointed, because the company is still keeping them a secret.
As you probably already figured it out, the new Subaru Levorg is getting the permanent Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as the only choice and some safety tweaks have been announced too, including the rear vehicle alert, the blind spot detection and so on. The carmaker is also bringing the latest infotainment system along with a strut front suspension and a double wishbone setup for the rear. As far as the engine goes, the new Levorg will become available with the 1.6 liter direct injected DTI turbo gasoline burner, which is capable of putting down a total of 170 HP (125 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. At a later time, the carmaker will introduce a 2.0 liter DIT turbo, with 300 HP (221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). These are sending power to the 4WD through a new Lineatronic transmission, with a Sport version for the larger unit.
