New images with the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser have ended up on the web, showing us how the SUV will look like in its mid-cycle refresh.
The Toyota Land Cruiser has been around for a lot of years now but it is still a long time from receiving a new generation. However, this doesn’t mean that the carmaker cannot make it more appealing to its future buyers by applying a facelift. The images posted below are showing us exactly how this facelifted variant will look like as they have leaked and posted on ClubLexus.
The updated version of the Toyota Land Cruiser is bringing a new design. The front fascia has been upgraded, as you can see for yourselves, and we can also notice some additional chrome elements. The headlights have received a new design too, along with the fog lamp surrounds and the lower grille which are getting the chrome features. The hood also appears to be new, along with the taillights which are believed to get the LED technology. The Toyota Land Cruiser nameplate can be seen underneath the taillights, on the chrome bar. A new design for the instrument cluster is visible in the cabin, along with an updated center console. Some premium touches are expected here too. We’re not sure at this point whether Toyota will perform an upgrade for the engine lineup too. Rumor has it that the 2016 Land Cruiser will be unveiled in August, online, and that it will make its public debut one month later, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
