The first image with the interior design of the brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia has ended up on the web.
Alfa Romeo fans have went bananas after the car manufacturer has pulled the wraps off the brand new Giulia. This is the successor of the 159 and in its range-topping version, the Quadrifoglio Verde, it is a rival for the BMW M3 and the Mercedes AMG C63 S. The design is appealing and despite being inspired by other vehicles, the overall looks of the midsize premium sedan is unique and, most importantly, “Italian”.
The cabin of the car has been inspired by the ones of its main German rivals and Audi comes to my mind at this time. This is driver-focused and it appears to be in the QV version too. Notice the manual shifter and the three pedals, the simple layout, the large media screen controllable through the “iDrive-like” knob, carbon fiber trim, audio controls, the round air vents similar to the ones made by Mercedes-Benz, the dual-zone climate control and the contrasting red stitching. Until Alfa Romeo will decide to release official images with the interior design of the new Giulia, this is all we’ve got. We will remind you that it has a six-cylinder turbocharged aluminum-made engine under its hood, with 503 HP (375 kW), in the QV version. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in 3.9 seconds. RWD is offered as standard but in the future the carmaker may add an optional AWD too.
