Mercedes-Benz is going to introduce a facelifted version of the GL full-sized SUV, which will be renamed as the GLS.
The larger brother of the GLC and GLE is going to be called the GLS and this is nothing more than the facelifted version of the GL. The full-sized SUV is getting ready to be officially unveiled, but until this will be happening, the company is still working on its development. However, until now, no one outside the German brand knew exactly how this will be looking like, but things have changed since the guys from worldscoop have managed to get their hands on a couple of images with the luxury cruiser.
When we say luxury cruiser we mean it, but don’t expect a true rival for the Bentley Bentayga just yet, because this is not the case as the 2016 model year will be bringing a new set of headlights with the integrated LED DRLs, new front bumper air intakes, a different radiator grille with the company’s logo, a new diffuser, new 3D graphics for the taillights and a slightly upgrade diffuser. The vehicle should be unveiled in the weeks to come and order books are expected to be opened in December. The engine lineup is expected to be carried over from the current version but more details on it remain unknown for now.
