The first images with the production version of the Kia KX3 have recently leaked out over the web as the model in question is getting ready to be officially unveiled, in the near future.
After being shown back in November, at the Guangzhou Auto Show, as a concept car, the Kia KX3 is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time in its final production version, with the help of some leaked images. The photos posted below are showing us exactly how the model will look like and it will be instantly recognizable as a Kia, coming with a lot of influences from the one-off vehicle.
The production Kia KX3 will be getting a new design for the fog lights, different exhaust pipe configuration at the rear and several other tweaks, while the interior design is getting the three-spoke steering wheel which has been wrapped in leather, the lacquered trim, the brown leather upholstery and so on, which should make the model quite appealing to its future customers. Optional goodies will include the keyless entry, the panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rearview camera and more.
The Kia KX3 is expected to be powered by two petrol engines, both of them with the same 1.6 liter displacement. The naturally aspirated version will be good for 123 HP (90 kW) and 151 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque, while the turbocharged will be putting down 200 HP (147 kW) and 264 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque. Power will be sent to the wheels through a 7-speed DCT transmission.
