After a long series of speculations about the next super-car from Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, we finally have some official documents. This is the Lamborghi LP700-4 Order Guide.
The document reveals that LP700-4 will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 that will provide 690 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque on tap, routed to the ground via all-wheel drive. The Italian super-car will use a new seven-speed independent shifting rod gearbox that will be capable to change gears in just 50 milliseconds.
With such engine and this new transmission, LP700-4 will hit 62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds. Well, if you ask us that’s close to Veyron territory. That’s real fast!
The wheelbase has grown from 2665 mm to 2700 mm, whilst the rest of the car has grown in length +170 mm, but is some 28 mm narrower
According to the ordering guide, the LP700-4 will get a new color choice, the orange pearl-effect Aracio Argos, that’s darker than the current Arancio Atlas orange. Of course, inside high-tech goodies like sat-nav, iPod and USB connectivity and Bluetooth are standard fare, not to mention a giant heaping of street cred.
