A few images with the new generation of the Audi A4 have emerged and they are revealing part of its front fascia and the interior design.
Audi’s answer to the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Jaguar XF or Cadillac ATS, amongst others, is called the A4 and it has been around for quite a few years now. Happily, the German based automaker is currently working on a new generation and this has been spotted testing several times. The newest images with the 2016 Audi A4, which have ended up on the web, are showing the model without camouflage and they are revealing the aggressive design for the headlights, with LED turning signals and daytime running lights, the larger and sharper radiator grille and the more muscular hood.
Besides the front end of the mid-size vehicle, we can also see part of the interior design, with the new layout, the new buttons for several controls, the automatic gearshift lever with a Sport mode, Audi’s own copy of the iDrive made by BMW, a small screen in the middle of the dashboard and that’s about all. The new generation of the Audi A4 is believed to be riding on the second generation of the MLB platform, which will shed about 100 kg (220 lbs) from its weight. The engine lineup of the car will include petrol, diesel and hybrid powerplants with outputs ranging between 120 HP (88 kW) and 326 HP (240 kW). The RS4 will be the most powerful version of the model. The new Audi A4 is said to make its premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
