Well, there it is ladies and gentlemen. The 2017 Porsche Panamera, now in its second generation, has somehow found its way on to the Internet ahead of the official release taking place on June 28.
The upcoming sedan has been leaking like a Mercedes (remember the E Class?) and now we have what seemingly appear as official leaked photographs of the top class Panamera Turbo. The new generation Panamera, already dubbed as the “fastest luxury sedan on earth”, is only scheduled to appear in front of the audience officially on June 28 in Germany, but it seems the model had other plans. The set of shots depict the exterior in all its glory and also come with a subtle peek inside the cabin. More importantly even, there’s also a shot of the engine bay – confirming the new generation has new power in the form of a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8.
There are still important questions to be answered – powertrain and performance specifications are yet unknown. But we know that across the rumor mill the Panamera is set to lose some weight, so even if the new powerplant is slightly underpowered compared to the outgoing version it could still deliver better performance and fuel economy. As we can see from the exterior shots, the Panamera is going the evolutionary route, with new LED headlights, and a double strip of LED running lights in the front bumper. Switching to the rear three-quarters perspective, the upgraded designs looks to have resolved the hump issue and we can also see a set of very thin taillights running across the back. We also see the previously undisclosed instrument cluster, revealing the center tachometer is the only analog gauge left.
