The French based automaker Renault is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off yet an even hotter version of the new Clio RS generation, the so-called Clio RS Trophy. The model in question will be introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March, in a world premiere, but the first images with it have recently surfaced online.
The brand new Renault Clio RS Trophy has been already teased for the Swiss automotive event, as a mysterious new Renaultsport model, and it has been recently revealed in its leaked images. The photos are showing us a sporty sub-compact hot hatch with a two-tone exterior and aerodynamic details. We also have to mention the new alloy wheels, which are matching the ones of the official teaser.
The aerodynamic tweaks will be helping it stand out from the regular version of the Clio RS and as far as the engine goes, rumor has it that it will be packing in a 1.6 liter DIG Turbo with more than 200 HP (150 kW) and 240 Nm (180 lb-ft) of torque. More details on the brand new Renault Trophy RS are limited for the moment and will be announced during the Swiss automotive event, which will be opening its gates for the media tomorrow.
