The first images with the Volvo V90 have ended up on the web, showing us the exact lines of the upcoming flagship estate.
It’s not that long since we’ve had the chance to take a look at the upcoming Volvo S90, the official successor of the current S80, with the help of a scale model which has ended up on the web, in several images. Now, time has come to talk about the more practical version of the car, the Volvo V90, which seems to have been inspired by the Concept Estate.
If you hoped that the images posted below are the real deal, you will be surprised to know that this is also a scale model. However, this reveals how the design will be translated into the final production vehicle, known as the V90, and it actually has the same story as the flagship sedan, that of an employee who has stolen several “toys”, posed them and uploaded the photos on the web.
The new Volvo V90 has a similar front fascia to the S90 while the rear end is bringing the large taillights, inspired by the above mentioned concept. The roof rails are also visible, along with the roof-mounted spoiler which is bringing the third brake lights. Images with the cabin aren’t here just yet but expect a lot of things with the second generation of the XC90. Rumor has it that the brand new S90 will be released by the end of this year to China, followed by other markets in 2016, while the V90 should come out by the end of next year.
