Lewis Hamilton has recently added an impressive hypercar to his collection, a Ferrari LaFerrari.
There is no surprise anymore that Lewis Hamilton likes his rides powerful and the newest addition made to his garage is an impressive Ferrari LaFerrari. This will be joining the one-off Pagani Zonda 760 LH, the Shelby Mustang GT500, the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series or the Mercedes A45 AMG. Keep in mind that the Ferrari LaFerrari has been produced in just 499 units and, besides being very rare, it is also very expensive, as it costs approximately 2 million USD. Even if you can afford it, you cannot buy a brand new one straight from Maranello anymore because all units have been sold.
This is the company’s first ever hybrid and it has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The hypercar is rivaling the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder and it is coming with a rear mid-engine and a rear-wheel drive layout, in a two-door coupe body style. It has a 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine under its hood, with 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, backed p by a KERS unit, with 161 HP (120 kW). The total output stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the LaFerrari needs less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
