Famous F1 driver Lewis Hamilton has added yet another expensive vehicle to his collection, a brand new Mercedes-Maybach S600.
Lewis Hamilton is well known for his passion in expensive cars and his newest addition has just arrived. The model in question is a brand new Mercedes-Maybach S600 which is wearing an appealing white shade on its body, riding on chromed wheels. It remains to be seen whether Lewis is considering hiring a chauffeur for his new car or if he prefers to drive it on his own, but one thing is for sure, the model will definitely not feel alone in his garage.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S600 has been shown back in late 2014 and it has a tough job, which means going up against some of the hottest luxury cruisers in the segment, including the Bentley Flying Spur or the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The model has a design which is making it look similar to the new S-Class generation but it has grown by 200 mm in length, standing at 5,453 mm, with a 3,365 mm long wheelbase. The S600 is making use of a 6.0 liter twin turbo V12 engine, which is capable of putting down a total of 530 HP (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. The carmaker is also offering the S600, with a smaller 4.7 liter V8 biturbo engine, producing 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, or in the S400 4MATIC, bringing a 3.0L V6 with 333 HP (245 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque.
