Toyota’s luxury division Lexus has recently pulled the wraps off the GS 350 F Sport safety car in Australia, thanks to a partnership between the carmaker and Sydney Motorsport Park.
“There have been many changes here at Sydney Motorsport Park in the last year and we are pleased that Lexus has decided to maintain its long-standing relationship with us. The GS 350 not only looks fantastic, but the feedback I’ve had from the drivers is that it’s a really enjoyable vehicle to drive… we are pleased that Lexus has decided to maintain its long-standing relationship with us”, said the CEO of Sydney Motorsport Park and the Australian Racing Drivers’ Club, Glenn Matthews.
The Lexus GS 350 F Sport will be offered in Australia in 11 units and this will act as a safety car to upcoming races of the season, starting with the one on the 1st of September, the 2012 Muscle Car Classic. As a quick reminder, the Lexus GS 350 F Sport safety car is getting the standard 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is developing a total output of 306 BHP. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds.
