Lexus has released a new teaser image with the upcoming LF-C2 Concept which will be introduced at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The brand new Lexus LF-C2 Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again these days, with the help of a new teaser image, which is showing much more than before. The model in question has been described to be an “exciting new open-air concept” and chances are this will be transformed into a production vehicle in the near future which will basically become the RC Cabrio, which will be another large step forward for the Japanese based automaker, in a segment currently dominated by Germans.
We are not sure at the moment what engine is found under the hood of this one-off vehicle, but chances are it is the 3.5 liter V6 used on the RC 350, with its 306 HP, or even the 2.5 liter backed up by an electric motor, form the RC 300h. Don’t act too surprised if the 5.0 liter V8 unit, from the RC F, will be seen under the hood of the concept car, with its 467 HP (348 kW) and 527 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque. More details on the LF-C2 Concept will be announced in L.A.
