Lexus is currently introducing the new LF-FC Concept which will preview the next generation of the LS flagship.
Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus is currently focusing on the new LF-FC Concept, which has been officially unveiled recently and it will act as a preview of the next generation LS. The vehicle is a full-size sedan, standing in at 5,300 mm long, 2,000 mm wide and 1,410 mm tall, incorporating the L-finesse design philosophy. We can notice the new spindle grille with the different mesh design, the L-shaped LED DRLs, the different taillights, the sloping roof line bringing the impression of a four-door coupe, 21-inch aluminum wheels with carbon fiber reinforced plastic rims and several other goodies.
The cabin of the new car is packing several screens which are replacing almost all conventional buttons. The HMI is getting gesture controls and there is a small holographic image which is located on the center console, used so the system can interpret hand gestures for the ventilation and audio systems. The new Lexus LF-FC Concept has a fuel cell power system propelling the rear axle and in-wheel motors at the front, providing an all-wheel drive. No words on the power and performance figures of the car have been announced so far but this will be officially unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
