The Japanese based automaker Lexus has recently announced that the LF-LC Opal Blue Concept will be officially unveiled over-seas this month, during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After it made its debut last month at the 2012 Australian International Auto Show, the Lexus LF-LC Opal Blue Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with Toyota’s luxury brand announcing that the model will be officially presented to the public in the United States too, for the first time, during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, on the 28th of November.
According to the car manufacturer, the Lexus LF-LC Opal Blue Concept is coming with the new color and with a new upholstery, and the model’s finish has been inspired by the blue opal found in the Australian Outback. Power to the Lexus LF-LC Opal Blue Concept is being provided by the 5.0 liter V8 engine, helped by two electric motors and a Ni-MH battery pack. The total output produced by the hybrid powertrain is 438 HP (444 PS / 327 kW) and this is enough to allow the model to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 208 km/h.
