Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) is planning to officially pull the wraps off the Lexus LS 650 prototype at the upcoming Essen Motor Show.
After it made its “debut” a year ago with the “help” of a leaked image, the Lexus LS 650 prototype is getting ready to be officially presented to the public soon, during the Essen Motor Show, where Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) is planning to officially pull the wraps off its body. The Japanese based automaker Toyota isn’t saying anything official yet on the Lexus LS 650 but that doesn’t mean that the model isn’t getting ready to enter the company’s lineup.
The Lexus LS 650 will get an aerodynamic body kit with aggressive front and rear bumpers, with a front splitter, a ventilated hood, extended wheel arches, a trunk mounted spoiler, unique alloy wheels and more. Power to the Lexus LS 650 is expected to be provided by a 5.0 liter V8 engine which will produce more than 600 HP (441 kW) and it might even generate 650 HP (478 kW) and 710 Nm of torque. This will allow the 2,070 kg (4,563 lb) to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
