Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has pulled the wraps off the NF-NX Concept, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week.
Lexus is planning to develop a rival for models like the BMW X3 or the Audi Q5 and the first step in creating such a model is the new NF-NX Concept. The model in question is serving as a preview for a future production crossover. The NF-NX Concept is getting a diamond shaped mesh, a spindle grille, sharp headlights with independent daytime running lights, muscular wheel arches, boomerang taillights and more.
“A new Lexus compact crossover concept, the LF-NX, will make its world premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). This concept explores the potential for a compact crossover within the Lexus model range”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The Lexus NF-NX Concept is finished in a Brushed Metal Silver exterior paint scheme and it has blue instrument lighting in the cabin, sunrise yellow leather and a driver oriented cockpit. If everything goes well, we should see the model in production in the nearby future. Additional details on the new Lexus NF-NX Concept are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on September 10.
