The Japanese automaker is planning to showcase during the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show the latest iterations of the NX and CT compact models – both featuring a raft of subtle tweaks.
The facelifted Lexus NX crossover and CT hatchback actually don’t change too much in terms of styling, and both model will premiere in front of the worldwide audience of the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Along with the subtle styling enhancements inside and out, there’s also new technology to discuss, as the brand wants to emphasize its new “Experience Amazing” tagline. The Lexus NX coms with reworked front bumper and grille, new projector headlamps that have been inspired by the brand’s LC coupe. The rear features slightly modified taillights and a new rear bumper with L-shaped chrome accents.
Moving inside, the NX now packs a larger 0.3-inch center infotainment display and redesigned HVAC switches, as well as metallic-satin-finished controls. The NX also gets an improved suspension and new Adaptive Variable Suspension System for better ride and handling. The CT meanwhile packs a redesigned front end, which is more dynamic and includes a new LED daytime running lights signature. The rear again comes with L-shaped design elements for the bumper and modified 3D taillights. The CT also gains access to the 10.3-inch center display, along with the Lexus Safety System including Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beams.
