The first images with the Lexus NX have recently ended up on the web after our spy photographers have managed to capture the vehicle while it was being tested on the Nurburgring.
The Japanese based automaker Lexus has big plans for its future models and one of these vehicles will be a compact luxury crossover, which will be slotted right below the RX. The model in question will be named the Lexus NX, once it will make its way onto the market, but before arriving in a Lexus showroom next to you, the company has to make sure that everything works just like it should.
The images posted below are showing the so-called Lexus NX with a lot of camouflage on its body while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring. The NX is expected to get a fresh styling, which should attract more customers into the brand, especially young people. As for the engine lineup, this is expected to receive the 2.5 liter transversely mounted Atkinson cycle engine, along with the nickel-metal battery, found on the ES 300h. Additional details on the Lexus NX are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following months.
