The Japanese based automaker Lexus is planning to introduce a high performance version of the CT 200h, which might make its way onto the market pretty soon.
Lexus has already told us about the 2014 CT 200h making its way to the Guangzhou Motor Show, on the 21st of November, but it seems that Toyota’s luxury brand has some more plans for the modified vehicle, as it might receive a high performance version. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but it was hinted by Mark Templin, the Lexus International Executive vice president, in an interview with Motoring.
“I think the CT got a reputation for its handling steering and suspension system. If we had had a second powertrain in that car, I think sure we would have done a lot more volume”, said Mark Templin for the source mentioned above.
Sadly we don’t have a clue on what engine a high performance version of the CT 200h might receive and we don’t even know if it will get features like a modified suspension system, beefier brakes, larger wheels and so on, but these details will probably be announced if the carmaker will give the green light to such a vehicle.
