The brand new Lexus RC 350 F Sport has been officially unveiled by Toyota’s luxury brand, ahead of the model’s debut scheduled for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, early next week.
Lexus has officially pulled the wraps off the new RC 350 F Sport which will be making its public debut during the Swiss automotive event. The model in question is looking similar to the RC 350 and to the RC F but it actually slots between these two. The RC 350 F Sport has received a more aggressive look compared to the standard vehicle but it’s not as aggressive as the top of the line version and it can easily stand out from a crowd.
The new Lexus RC 350 F Sport is coming with a double wishbone front and multilink rear suspension system, with 19-inch alloy wheels and with a dark metallic shade. Other goodies found on the model in question include the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) with Lexus Dynamic Handling (LDH, the Rioja Red upholstery in the cabin, which is only found on the F Sport, the leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shift lever and some other tweaks.
As far as the engine goes, the Japanese based automaker says that the new Lexus RC 350 F Sport is being powered by a V6 unit, which is developing a total output of 306 HP (236 kW), at 6,400 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 375 Nm (277 lb-ft), available at 4,800 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. More details on the Lexus RC 350 F Sport will be announced during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
