The Japanese based automaker Lexus is teasing a new concept car which will be officially presented at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.
Toyota’s luxury division Lexus is playing on the same stage as the European “big boys” and the car manufacturer has recently released a teaser image of a new concept car, along with a few words to “describe” it. Lexus says that its upcoming concept car will make its official debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. As you can see from the image above, the concept car has recessed headlights, a honeycomb grille and metallic accents.
“Lexus will unveil a new concept vehicle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 9, 2012. Designed by Calty, the company’s design studio in Newport Beach, California, the concept showcases the new design direction embraced by Lexus”, as the automaker said in its official press release.
The upcoming concept car made by Lexus has been designed in order to preview the company’s future models. Additional details on the concept car have been limited by Lexus but more information on the vehicle will be announced once it will be officially presented at the 2012 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show).
