Lexus teasing RC F once more

Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has released a new teaser image with the upcoming 2015 RC F, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit, next month.

The second teaser image of the new 2015 Lexus RC F has been released by the Japanese based automaker and this time we can see the new sculpted hood with a scoop on it, part of the front grille, part of the headlights and that’s about all. According to the car manufacturer, the new model will have twice the roar of the IS F and half the doors.

“Half the doors, twice the roar. Lexus will unleash its upcoming F model as a coupe, conceived with grit, an entirely new expression of design and uncompromising performance. The official name of this two-door F model will be released in early January 2014”, as Lexus is saying in its official press release.

The new 2015 Lexus RC F will have carbon fiber body panels, a sport tuned suspension system, with a 15 mm reduced ride height, Brembo brakes and much more. Power will be provided by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which should produce approximately 455 HP (339 kW) and 543 Nm (401 lb-ft) of torque. Additional details on the new Lexus RC F are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, which will open its gates in January.
