Lincoln has pulled the wraps off the Continental Concept as this will be making its public debut at the end of the week, during the 2015 New York Auto Show.
The new Lincoln Continental Concept will bring back the legendary nameplate and it is offering a preview for next year’s production model. The one-off vehicle has been unveiled over the web ahead of its introduction which will be made at the 2015 New York Auto Show, later on this week. The Continental Concept has a chrome layout on the grille with sleek LED matrix headlights with laser assist high beams, the Rhapsody Blue metallic finish, 21-inch polished aluminum wheels, E-Latch door handles which can hide themselves and so on.
The concept car has the SPD SmartGlass tinted sunroof which is allowing the cabin occupants to control the heat generated by sunlight and, at the touch of the button, the glass can cool the interior by up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit and it can block up to 99 percent of the UV rays. The cabin is also bringing the soft gold LED ambient lighting, climate control settings for the rear passengers, Ravel Ultima sound system with three surround modes, front passenger seat which can fully recline, champagne storage compartment, rear lap trays and so on.
Some of the assist technologies include the Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Protection, Enhanced Park Assist, 360 degree camera and so on. Under the hood we can find the 3.0 liter V6 EcoBoost engine, which is sending power to the rear wheels.
