The restless Lindsay Lohan managed to avert prison after she struck no contest deal with prosecutors yesterday, March 19th, for the June 2012 car crash.
Lohan, who was so close of getting herself in jail for the next 8 months, agreed to plead no contest to reckless driving and providing false information to a police officer. She will now spend 90 days in a lockdown rehab facility, serve 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychological counseling. So for the next 90 days the ‘Liz & Dick’ actress will have time to consider her behavior as she is not allowed to leave the facility for any reasons.
Lohan also admitted she violated her probation in the 2011 shoplifting case, for which she was sentenced to 180 days in jail, a sentence that was stayed as long as the actress kept out of trouble. The actress will also have to pay restitution to the truck driver she hit in June 18th. Lohan told the police back then she wasn’t driving the Porsche.
“A suggestion: Don’t drive,” the judge told Lohan after reading her sentence. “This is it: You violate your probation and we’re not going to be having discussions,” he added.
