Lionel Messi buys Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale
The famous Argentinian football player who is under a contract with FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi, has recently bought himself a new ride, a Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale.
We all know that football players or professional athletes have great tastes when it comes to picking up new cars but it seems that Lionel Messi is above them after choosing carefully his brand new ride, which steps out of the Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley or Rolls-Royce usually picked. The 25-year old captain of the Argentina national team was spotted by photographers driving a new supercar, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, which, apparently, it’s his latest ride. We love the color, by the way.
As a quick reminder, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale has been revealed back in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show and it’s a more powerful version, lighter and more aerodynamic of the GranTurismo, producing a total output of 444 HP (450 PS / 331 kW) which is enough to assure it a top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph). The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is, just like every other GranTurismo out there, 4,881 mm long, 1,847 mm wide and 1,353 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,942 mm. The regular version of the GranTurismo was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2007.
