The newest exotic hypercar out there – the W Motors Fenyr SuperSport – has been on display at Al-Ain Class Motors, which were kind enough to share these pics with the rest of the world.
The W Motors exotic manufacturer is world famous for having its Lykan HyperSport jumping between buildings in the Furious 7 action flick, but it has now been succeeded by something even more powerful and faster. The Fenyr SuperSport has adorned a UF-developed twin-turbo flat-six 4.0-liter engine that comes with 900 hp and 1,400 Nm of torque and this mill has been mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The overly angular body – which was probably inspired by the works done lately by Lamborghini – has a total weight of just 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg) thanks mainly to the extensive and costly use of carbon fiber. The powerful engine – lightweight body combo resulted in pretty astonishing performance figures – the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint is done in no more than 2.7 seconds while the maximum speed envisioned by the manufacturer is of at least 249 mph (400 km/h).
This is a level of performance that would stand next to the Bugatti Veyron though in W Motors’ case we’re seriously doubting it can actually be achieved. With production scheduled for just 25 units at least the level of exclusivity will be insured – the manufacturer also said it worked diligently with Magna Steyr and the overboard styling was the work of Italy’s StudioTorino. We’re also waiting the first footage cases with the model to see if W Motors was actually right in its claims of greatness.
