BMW has recently announced that the locally assembled 3-Series F30, in the shape of the 328i and the 320d, has been launched in Malaysia.
The first batch of the locally assembled BMW 3-Series F30 has been recently launched in Malaysia, where the 328i has been priced at RM289,000 and the 320d costs RM248,800, both prices on the road without insurance and with BMW Service Inclusive and Repair. The previously made versions of the 3-Series were priced at RM268,800 form the 320d and at RM309,800 for the 328i.
The BMW 328i F30 made in Malaysia is still powered by the N20 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine, which is developing a total output of 245 HP between 5,000 and 6,500 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm available between 1,250 and 4,800 rpm. The BMW 320d F30 is powered by the N47B20 2.0 liter diesel unit, which is producing 184 HP at 4,000 rpm and 380 Nm of torque available between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm.
According to the German based automaker, the BMW 328i is available in two trim levels in Malaysia, the Sport Line and the Luxury Line, while the 328d is available in Sport Line and Modern Line. The petrol version is coming with an 8.8-inch display unit, along with the Navigation system which is coming with the regular version, a nine-speaker audio system and the BMW Connected Drive Apps, while the diesel is getting a 6.5-inch screen, a six-speaker audio system and that’s about all.
