A one-off Lotec Mercedes-Benz supercar will be auctioned next weekend by RK Motors Collector Car Auctions (RKMCCA), at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Good news for those of you with enough million USD in your bank accounts looking for a brand new and more than exclusive ride as RK Motors Collector Car Auctions will auction a one-off Lotec Mercedes-Benz supercar. The event will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center between October 31 and November 3. The model in question has been made back in 1995 and it was commissioned by an United Arab Emirates business man, who has paid 3.5 million USD to have the world’s fastest street-legal car.
The Lotec Mercedes-Benz is powered by a 5.6 liter Mercedes-Benz V8 twin turbo engine, fitted with Garrett turbos, which is producing a total output of 1,000 HP. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint in the one-off supercar stands at an impressive 2.8 seconds and top speed is 268 mph (431 km/h), which is actually 1 mph (1.6 km/h) faster than Bugatti Veyron’s top speed. The Lotec Mercedes-Benz has a Hewland 6-speed transmission and it weighs 2,381 pounds (1,080 kg), being made from carbon fiber. Starting bid will stand at 1,000,000 USD.
