The British lightweight sports car specialist has announced plans to come to the Swiss event with two new sports models, hitting the show floor on March 1.
Lotus has been coy on providing specific details but did disclose chief executive officer Jean-Marc Gales would be present to introduce the “fastest ever lineup of production road cars.” Actually the manufacturer will have a total of four different vehicles on display for fans and professionals – including the two unannounced models and the 3-Eleven and Elise Cup 250.
Nothing has been confirmed yet but one of the mystery models could be the Evora 400 Roadster that would use the basis of the Evora 400 Coupe introduced last year during the Geneva Motor Show. That one features a modified design and a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine packing 400 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque. That was enough for the model to reach 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) in 4.1 seconds and a maximum speed of 186 mph. The other model remains an unknown but speculation ranges from a track-focused Evora to a facelifted Exige. That one would deploy the same powertrain as in the Evora 400 and come with the same power: 400 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque.
