A Lotus Elise sports car has been recently crashed in the United States after its driver hit some loose gravel, ruining his ride.
We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars, there will also be exotic car crashes, and this latest example of “how not to” is coming all the way from over-seas, where a Lotus Elise has seen better days. According to the guys at wreckedexotics.com, the driver of the Lotus Elise went through a curve doing 30 mph (almost 50 km/h) and hit some loose gravel, the result being what you can see in the image posted above.
Our source doesn’t say anything about other vehicles involved or any victims after this unfortunate incident, and we don’t even know what happened to the driver, but judging by the image posted above, he definitely walked away unharmed but with a big question in his mind, like: “what the h… happened?” Well owning an exotic car isn’t that easy and even if you’re not speeding, you can still end up in our news.
This isn’t the only incident which involved the Lotus Elise, and the Club Racer, a special edition, has been crashed by a Polish journalist, who was test driving it in late 2011. The guy was incredibly lucky to get out alive, as you can see by clicking this link.
