Lotus has released the first pricing details of for the Evora 400 which is set to hit the production line this summer.
The new Lotus Evora 400 will be priced, on its local market, from 72,000 GBP, while in Germany, prices will kickoff at 96,000 euros. According to the car manufacturer, the first deliveries on the Old Continent will begin this August but if you happen to live over-seas, you will have to wait until December to get your hands on your new ride. Prices for the car in the United States will begin from 89,900 USD. The impressive vehicle will also be hitting some Asian markets next year and in China it will begin from 1,318,000 RMB while in Japan this will be setting you back for 13,200,000 YEN.
The 2016 Lotus Evora 400 is coming with a more aggressive body than the standard ride and it has larger 19-inch front and 20-inch rear lightweight forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The vehicle is also getting the larger brakes, the retuned suspension system and the revised aluminum chassis, which is cutting down 22 kg. Power is being provided by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 400 HP (298 kW) and it has a peak torque of 410 Nm (302 lb-ft), sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs 4.2 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
