The first examples of the Lotus Evora 400 have left the assembly line and they are currently heading over to dealerships.
According to the car manufacturer, the first units of the Lotus Evora 400 are currently heading to dealerships after leaving the assembly line and will soon be delivered to their customers across the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
“The Evora 400 has already received admiration and critical acclaim from media around the world, praising its performance, handling and design. In September and October, Lotus dealers throughout the UK and mainland Europe will be receiving their demonstrator and customers cars, so now is the opportunity for drivers to get behind the wheel and experience the Evora 400 for themselves”, said the Lotus CEO, Jean-Marc Gales.
The Lotus Evora 400 has a starting price of 72,000 GBP in the UK and over-seas it will be setting you back for 89,900 USD, but there is a catch, because U.S. customers will have to wait until early 2016 to get their first deliveries. The vehicle has a 3.5 liter supercharged V6 engine under its hood, producing 400 HP (298 kW) and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs just 4.2 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The sports car has a more aggressive body and it is riding on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear lightweight forged aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
