The Lotus Evora first response vehicle has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Gitex Technology Week at the Dubai World Trade Center.
All petrol heads know that the Dubai police department has the hottest supercars in the world with names including Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Bugatti and so on, but it seems that the medical units have fallen behind and they are now trying to take a step forward with the model pictured below. We are talking about a Lotus Evora which will be used as a first response vehicle after it has been officially unveiled.
The model in question will be carrying the same type of equipment as a regular ambulance but thanks to its impressive performance it will be capable of reaching the scene of the incident much faster and allow paramedics to provide first aid until the proper ambulance arrives. The sports car will be getting cardiac defibrillators, a suction unit, responder bag, oxygen bags, foam splints for fractures and several other tweaks. Paramedics who will be using this Evora as a first response vehicle will be receiving special training. The fleet will be joined later on by a Corvette C7 and by two Ford Mustangs.
