Lotus Evora S GP Edition revealed image

The British based automaker Lotus has revealed the new Evora S GP Edition, in an effort to promote their racing pedigree, coming with an aggressive black exterior with gold wheels and distinctive striping, being powered by the same 3.5 liter V6 engine as the standard model.

According to Lotus, the Evora S GP Edition has been inspired by the Lotus-Renault Formula One race car and the vehicle is coming equipped with the premium package, the technology package and a rearview camera which is supposed to make parking sound easy to everyone.

Lotus says that the Evora S GP Edition is powered by the same 3.5 liter V6 engine as the standard model, which is delivering a total output of 346 horsepower and has a peak torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds (0 – 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds) and hit a top speed of 172 mph or 277 km/h.

Only three units of the Evora S GP Edition will be made and Lotus has already announced the starting price which is 69.950 GBP or 109.155 USD.
