The standard Evora Sport 410 is not coming to a dealership near you with this black and gold paint scheme that evokes memories of the Team Lotus Formula One livery from 1972 to 1986.
You will need instead to order a Lotus Evora Sport 410 GP Edition through the Lotus Exclusive program – and you’ll have to make haste, because only five examples will be pampered to this achievement. The Evora Sport 410 is the quickest, most enticing Evora so far, losing 132 pounds (60 kilograms) to the Evora 400 model that can be had in the US and Europe. As such, it will tip the scales at a mere 3,020 lbs (1,370 kg) – even as low as 2,910 lbs (1,320 kg) if you go for the even lighter optional perks.
The Evora Sport 410 GP Edition does come with the same Toyota-derived supercharged 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine packing 400 horsepower and 301 pound-feet of torque – the power is delivered to the wheels using a standard six-speed manual transmission, or an optional six-speed automatic. The model, available in the US, sprints to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and will go as high as 190 mph (305 kph). For the North American market, the standard Evora Sport 410 goes for $104,200 while the special series GP Edition will become available this summer at an additional cost of $5,800, after it “has undergone considerable development to meet the specific demands of the North American market.”
