Lotus has recently announced the official starting price of the Exige S in Australia, which has been set at 119,990 AUD.
The Lotus Exige S as recently made its way onto the Australian auto market where future owners of the model will have to pay 119,990 AUD before they will be able to get their brand new rides home. The Exige S has been optimized to go around corners and it’s coming with adjustable Dynamic Performance Management, which is allowing the driver to switch between the three driving modes, the Touring, the Sport and the DPM off. The Race Pack is available as an option and it’s adding the launch control, the upgraded suspension system and the exhaust bypass valve override switch.
The most important part of the Lotus Exige S is found under its hood, where the 3.5 liter V6 supercharged engine is resting, which is good for 258 kW and 400 Nm of torque. This is sourced from the Evora and it’s replacing the old 1.8 liter four-cylinder with 163 kW and 215 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Lotus Exige S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 274 km/h.
