Lotus going to Frankfurt Motor Show with three new models image

After bringing a lot of concept cars at the Paris Auto Show last year, Lotus decided that the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show is the best event to introduce three new models.

The British automaker will present the fresh Elise S at the German event, replacing the Elise SC. The new model will be powered by a 1.8 liter supercharged engine, delivering 220 horsepower, but Lotus stopped here with the details, after announcing that the new Elise S will be kinder to the environment.

As for the other two models which will be unveiled at the Lotus booth in Frankfurt things are still unclear and the British automaker didn’t provide any more details except that one of them will be one of the fastest cars the company has ever built.

A version of the powerful Evora GTE road car could also be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, after being officially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, being officially made as a limited edition for the Asian auto market at first.

Lotus is also looking into new potential markets and has several plans in this direction, including the introduction of the Evorta GTE to the US.
