The Japanese based automaker Mazda has recently released the brochure and the price tag of the BT-50 in Malaysia, where the model will set you back for RM89, 841 for the base entry-level model.
According to the car manufacturer, the Mazda BT-50 will be available in two different versions of powertrain, a 2.2 liter with all-wheel drive, which can be ordered with a manual or an automatic transmission, and a larger 3.2 liter with all-wheel drive too. Mazda says that the BT-50 can come in five exterior shades, like the Gun Metal Blue, the Sparkling Gold, the Highlight Silver, the Titanium Grey and the Cool White.
Prices for the new Mazda BT-50 in Malaysia start at RM89,841 for the 2.2 with a manual transmission and at RM95,552 for the 2.2 with an automatic transmission, while the 3.2 automatic will set you back for RM107,051. All prices are on the road with insurance. The Mazda BT-50 is competing in Malaysia with the Ford Ranger, but the North American based vehicle is more expensive than the Japanese one, coming at RM89,888 for the 2.2 XLT manual, RM95,888 for the 2.2 XLT automatic and at RM116,888 for the 3.2L XLT Wildtrak.
