Despite suffering from a lack of Kers, Sebastian Vettel won today the Malaysian Grand Prix in his Red Bull. Reigning champion Vettel, who secured a win at the opening race of the new season in Melbourne two weeks ago, was in imperious form yet again in Malaysia.
Starting from pole, Vettel had a clean start, leading from the Mclaren’s of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, with Renault’s Nick Heidfeld storming into second from sixth on the grid.
Lewis Hamilton was sixth after battling his way up from 20th on the grid, while Jenson Button hung on to eighth.
Ferrari on Twitter: “WE deserved the podium with Fernando… anyway, that’s racing but we have a bitter taste today because we could have collected more.”
