We were just getting used to Mansory proposing subtler designs when they strike again in their usual opulent note – this time around with a massive GT3-inspired wing for the AMG GT S.
We already know Mansory has a very specific skill set – meaning if you want your vehicle to reach its extremes and then go a little further, the aftermarket house is the right address. Their latest introduction is a pretty good example – we have a bespoke Mercedes-AMG GT S with a rear wing that seems to be pretty visible from outer space. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and maybe fans of the mod would dismiss our worries by telling this is just a GT3-inspired mod. Aside from the huge carbon fiber wing, the AMG GT S also has a Mansory-specific aggressive body kit that was first showcased back in March during the Geneva Motor Show.
This one-off also has 21-inch wheels and a bespoke cockpit with red accents, complimenting some of the body’s details. Under the hood some magic takes place though, with the German tuner reworking the biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with bigger turbos and a sports air filter. Add in the custom exhaust system and you’ll understand why power jumped from the standard 510 horsepower (375 kilowatts) to a crafty 730 hp (537 kW). This is enough to shave 0.4 seconds off the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time that now lasts just 3.4 seconds. Mansory is also removing the 310 km/h electronic cap to unleash a maximum speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).
