The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 has been upgraded by the aftermarket specialists at Mansory, who have added some interesting items to the impressive SUV.
Some of the lucky few who will get to own a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 will be able to customize their rides with the tuning package offered by Mansory. This is highlighted by the carbon fiber made components such as the rear skirt, the mirror housings, the engine ventilators, the front skirt and so on. The interior design of the model has also received a new front grille, some carbon fiber parts, along with new upholsteries and the “highest quality Alcantara”, as the company is saying. Fine wood insertions have been also applied to the SUV.
The most significant change is found under its hood where Mansory has tweaked the big end bearings, the connecting rods, crankshaft, cylinder heads and other parts in order to allow the twin turbo AMG engine to produce a whopping 840 HP (618 kW) and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft), which has been electronically limited. Sadly Mansory didn’t provide any performance specifications. If Mansory’s version is not appealing, you can always check out the armored G63 AMG 6×6 made by Dartz.
