A rare example of the Ferrari 599 GTB is currently being offered for sale in California.
If the Ferrari 599 GTB is what you are still interested in, than this version might be just what the doctor has ordered. It is coming with an appealing red shade covering its body, with red finished brake calipers and with five-spoke silver wheels. The supercar is in mint condition and, best of all, it has a six-speed manual transmission, which is making it even more desirable, as only a few of these models have been put together in Maranello.
Earlier this year, a Ferrari 599 GTB, finished in black, equipped with the same six-speed manual gearbox, has managed to find itself a new owner at an auction who had to pay no less than 682,000 USD for it. This particular supercar is being offered for sale by CNC Motors Ontario, in California, and it has travelled for 27,660 km. With less than 20 units of the manual 599 GTB available in the United States, chances are its price will go through the roof as well.
Ferrari has been producing the 599 GTB between 2006 and 2012 and this has been offered in a two-seat coupe body style, with a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Transmission options include the 6-speed manual and the 6-speed sequential and under its hood we could find a 6.0 liter V12 engine, producing 612 HP (456 kW) and 608 Nm (448 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needed 3.7 seconds and top speed stood at 330 km/h (205 mph).
