Marangoni Range Rover Evoque HFI-R revealed at Bologna Motor Show image

The tire specialists at Marangoni have recently presented their latest creation, based on the Range Rover Evoque, at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show.

As you can see from the images below, the Marangoni Range Rover Evoque is coming with a full treatment like a new body kit, a bespoke interior and red tires. The exterior design has been modified and it has been fitted with new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, fender extensions, rear diffuser, air intakes and mirror covers, with the vehicle being covered in a special satin Titanium Fluid Metal paint, while sitting on a fresh set of 20 inch OZ Racing rims wrapped in ruby red M-Power EvoRed tires, which have a unique high-silica makeup to help reduce rolling resistance.

The so called HFI-R, as Marangoni likes to “think of it”, has also been equipped with the turbocharged 2.0 liter engine which is coming with a new turbo, a high-performance exhaust system and carbon air box, all of these tweaks leading to an increased output by 63 horsepower, to a total of 300 HP. Marangoni says that the’ve chosen the HFI-R name to attract the attention on the Hybrid Fuel Injection (HFI) which allows the crossover to be powered by either gasoline or a mixture of hydrogen and natural gas.
