The Maserati Alfieri Concept has recently made its local debut in the United States, as the one-off model has been taken to the Monterey Car Week.
Maserati has managed to place the brand new Alfieri Concept into the spotlights once more, after being officially presented to the public earlier this year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, this time by making its U.S. debut, at the Monterey Car Week, where it managed to attract a lot of curious eyes. The model in question is giving us a preview of the company’s future in terms of styling and chances are we will see this model on the road, in a production variant, sometimes next year.
Rumors appearing over these past few months were saying that the one-off model, in its production version, might become a rival for models such as the Jaguar F-Type, the Porsche 911 or the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, but this hasn’t been confirmed just yet. The Maserati Alfieri Concept is using the same chassis as the GranTurismo MC Stradale, which has been shortened by 240 mm. If it will be hitting the assembly line indeed, than the model in question will be using the Quattroporte and Ghibli platform and the 330 HP (243 kW) and 410 HP (310 kW) 3.0 liter V6 engine.
