A new rendering with the recently unveiled Maserati Alfieri is showing the model in a close to production version.
The Maserati Alfieri Concept has made quite a fuzz at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, where it was officially unveiled a couple of weeks ago, but it seems that his won’t be the last time we will see the impressive vehicle, especially because the Italian based automaker is planning to put it into production. The image posted above represents a rendering which should show us the Alfieri concept be more production ready and it has been signed by X-Tomi. We’re not sure whether the Alfieri will look anything like that, but this is still a good exercise for our minds.
Maserati has developed the Alfieri Concept for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and it has created this one-off vehicle using the same chassis as the GranTurismo MC Stradale, shortened by 240 mm. If it will indeed hit the production line, the Alfieri will become a direct rival for the Jaguar F-Type and it’s said to sit on the same platform as the Quattroporte and the Ghibli. Power should come from the 330 HP (243 kW) and 410 HP (310 kW) 3.0 liter V6, found on the Ghibli and its price will stand at approximately 60,000 GBP (72,300 EUR / 100,300 USD).
