The Italian based automaker Maserati is planning to introduce the final production version of the Ghibli to the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show in April.
Even if the car manufacturer is trying to keep the Maserati Ghibli into the shadows for the moment, things don’t always turn out the way it should and after it has been spied a few times until now, the model is ending up in our news once again, this time with a rumor. The future rival of the BMW 5-Series, of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class or of the Audi A6, the Maserati Ghibli, is expected to be officially unveiled in Shanghai, during the automotive event.
The Chinese presentation of the newest member in the Maserati family hasn’t been officially announced just yet and it’s a rumor posted by Autocar. According to our source, if the Maserati Ghibli won’t make its way to the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show in April, than the model will most like be unveiled in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Maserati Ghibli is expected to be sold in 50,000 units annually by 2015 and Asia is a big market for the future model. Additional details on the upcoming sedan made by Maserati are limited for the moment.
