The Italian based automaker Maserati has recently unveiled a new shade for the Ghibli, named the Blu Emozione, showing its sport character and its racing pedigree.
The newest creation signed by Maserati, in terms of cars, is named the Ghibli, and the model has been officially presented to the public a couple of months ago, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a world premiere. But now Maserati has decided to place it into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new shade, named the Blu Emozione. The Ghibli finished in this color can be seen in the images posted below.
As a quick reminder, the Maserati Ghibli is the first ever model produced by the company which received a diesel engine. The unit has been co-developed with a former Ferrari chief motorist, Paolo Martinelli, and it’s coming as a 3.0L turbocharged V6, which is producing 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm of torque (443 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 6.3 seconds and the model is burning an average of 6.0L / 100km of fuel (47 mpg UK / 39.2 mpg US), and it’s emitting 160 g/km of CO2. The model is also getting a 330 HP and 500 Nm of torque 3.0 liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine. Both versions are mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
